A card is wrong

Tap Not quite right? under the card, right after the reveal or on the card's page. Pick one of the look-alikes it suggests or type what it really is. CollectAim checks your answer against the photo: if it fits, the card is rewritten and keeps its number; if the photo clearly shows something else, it tells you why. Fixes don't use your discoveries.

A card is waiting to open

A sealed card is saved and opens by itself as soon as it can:

• No connection: it opens when you're back online.
• Out of discoveries: it opens when you have discoveries again (see below).
• AI identification is off: allow it in Settings → Privacy → AI identification.

Waiting cards appear at the top of your album; tap one to open it like a pack.

Discoveries

The free version includes 3 discoveries a day. A discovery is used when a photo is identified. Photos that can't be identified don't count, and neither do re-scans of something already in your collection that the app recognises on your iPhone. Discoveries come back at midnight where you are. Sharing a card can earn extra discoveries, and Pro makes them unlimited.

Moving to a new iPhone

Your collection syncs through your iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple ID on the new iPhone, make sure iCloud is on, install CollectAim, and your cards appear after a moment. Restoring the whole iPhone from a backup brings them along too.

Restoring Pro

Open CollectAim → Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple ID you bought Pro with. No account is needed.

Cancelling a subscription

Open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → CollectAim → Cancel Subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and all your cards stay in your collection afterwards.

Hiding where you found something

Open the card and turn off Show location. The place disappears from the card, the map, travel boards, the wrap and anything you share. It isn't deleted, so you can turn it back on.

Removing cards and your data

Remove a card from its page (the bin button). To remove everything, delete the app, then delete its iCloud data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → CollectAim. We keep no copy of your photos or cards on our servers, so there's nothing else to request — but you're welcome to email us with any privacy question. See the Privacy Policy.

The 3D rooms feel slow or warm

On older iPhones, in Low Power Mode or when the phone is warm, the rooms switch to a lighter look by themselves. You can also switch to the 2D album with the toggle at the top of your collection; it remembers your choice.

Language

CollectAim is available in English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Türkçe, العربية, 日本語, 한국어 and 繁體中文. Change it in the app under Settings → Language. Cards keep the language they were made in.
