Everything you find becomes a card.

Point your camera at a bird, a building, a croissant. CollectAim names it, tells you how rare it is and turns it into a holographic card for a collection you can walk through.

The reveal

From photo to foil
in seconds.

  1. 01

    Scan

Snap anything you meet, or bring in an old photo. The subject lifts right out of the picture.

  2. 02

    Identify

It names the exact species, landmark, dish or model, and checks how often people really come across it.

  3. 03

    Reveal

The card flips into foil. Rare finds glow; legendary ones shake, flash and throw light.

Not quite right? Tell it what you saw. It checks your answer against the photo and fixes the card.

Five tiers

Rarity you can trust.

Every kind of thing has one rarity, the same for everyone who finds it in the same country. For wild plants, animals and fungi it comes from real sightings recorded on GBIF in the country where you found it. A pigeon is common. A kingfisher is not.

Croissant, a common card

Sunflower, an uncommon card
UncommonNoticeable, but ordinary.
Red Telephone Box, a rare card

3D rooms

Your collection,
as a museum.

Walk a line of rooms, each built for what it holds. Clothes hang in a wardrobe, cars park in a garage, food waits in a kitchen and your rarest finds sit under glass in the vault. Empty rooms stay dark until your first card lights them up.

Discovery map

Every find
has a place.

Your cards sit where you met them, from a night-lit globe down to the street. Tap a place to see everything you found there.

  • Approximate on purpose. Pins are rounded so a screenshot never shows your front door.
  • Hide any place. Found it at home? Turn its location off on that card.

And more

Made to be shown off.

Card videos

Every reveal exports as a vertical video, ready for Stories and Reels.

Monthly wrap

A short story of your month: new finds, the rarest one, the places you went.

Seen, want, own

Spot a jacket or a camera you love? Mark it as wanted. Got it? It earns an owner's seal.

The full story

How to tell it apart, where it lives, where a dish comes from. A little more behind every card.

Works offline

No signal on the trail? Your card waits sealed and opens the moment you're back online.

Privacy

Your collection is yours.

  • It lives in your iCloud. No account, no profile, nothing to sign up for.
  • Photos aren't kept. A photo goes to the AI only to be identified. We never store it, and it's never used to train AI.
  • People are off limits. CollectAim never identifies people, and covers faces before a photo leaves your phone.

Questions

Where can I get it?

CollectAim is free on the App Store, for iPhone with iOS 18 or later.

What can it identify?

Plants, animals, fungi, landmarks, art, food, cars and other vehicles, clothes, tech, everyday objects, rocks, shells and skies. If it can't tell what it is, it says so, and you can correct any card.

Is it safe for foraging?

No. Identifications come from AI and can be wrong. Never use CollectAim to decide whether a plant, mushroom, berry or animal is safe to eat or touch.

What happens to my photos?

Your cards and photos stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. To identify a photo, CollectAim sends it to Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. We never store it, it's never used to train AI, and faces are covered first.

Do I need an account?

No. Your collection syncs through iCloud between your devices. There's nothing to sign up for.
