In one sentence
CollectAim is an iPhone app that identifies almost anything you point it at and turns it into a holographic collectible card, with rarity based on real sighting records for your country.
Short description
Point your iPhone at a bird, a building, a mushroom or a croissant. CollectAim names it, tells you how rare it is where you are, and seals it into a foil card you open like a pack. Your finds fill 3D rooms you can walk through, a discovery map, and country sets — birds, wild plants, butterflies, dishes, landmarks — that give every walk something to look for. There's no account: cards and photos stay on your iPhone and in your iCloud.
What makes it different
- Rarity that means something. Wild species are rated against public GBIF sighting records for the country you're in, so a kingfisher feels special and a pigeon doesn't.
- Cards worth keeping. Every find is cut out from its background and printed on a foil card that shifts as you tilt your phone. Opening one feels like opening a pack.
- A collection you can walk through. Cards hang in 3D rooms, one per category, joined by an enfilade of doorways — or flip through them in a classic album.
- Something to look for. Country sets and three weekly missions turn a commute or a holiday into a hunt.
- Honest about mistakes. If a card is wrong, suggest what it really is and CollectAim checks the answer against the photo.
- Private by design. No sign-up, faces are covered before a photo is sent for identification, and photos aren't stored or used to train AI.

Good to know
- Identification is done by AI and can be wrong. CollectAim says so in the app and should never be used to decide whether something is safe to eat or touch.
- Missions count live camera captures only, and there are no public leaderboards.
- Sharing and missions never earn extra discoveries or other rewards.
